We offer registered massage therapy, chiropractic care, physiotherapy services, acupuncture and active rehab with kinesiologists. Our Newest Clinic
Our Burnaby multi-disciplinary clinic includes chiropractics, registered massage therapy, acupuncture, physiotherapy and kinesiology. Coming soon is our prenatal wing consisting of chiropractic, pelvic floor physiotherapy, prenatal acupuncture, and prenatal massage therapy. We offer direct billing to most insurances. Our Burnaby clinic is in a central location 1 block away from Patterson sky train station and ample paid parking. Plenty of free parking in the nearby neighborhood. Dr. Kody Au
Position: Chiropractor

Dr. Au is certified by the national chiropractic examining boards of Canada (British Columbia) and United States. He is a member of the British Columbia Chiropractic Association, British columbia College of Chiropractic and Canadian Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Kody Au graduated from the University of Alberta in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. He worked at Burnaby Hospital on the Acute Medicine and Stroke ward shortly after graduating. In 2015, Dr. Kody Au obtained his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, Masters of Science in Exercise and Sports Sciences and a Doctor of Chiropractic graduating with Magna Cum Laude Honors from the University of Western States.
Kody has extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. He has a special interest in sports related injuries where he applies extensive assessment, traditional chiropractic therapy, and cutting edge rehabilitation techniques.
Kody has played volleyball competitively in high school and continues to play recreationally till this day. He is also currently a member and sponsor of the Vancouver Dodgeball League. By being active his whole life, Kody has a special appreciation towards sports and athletics. He seeks to allow individuals of all ages to continue their activities as long as possible.

Christine Bersabe
Position: Registered Massage Therapist
Christine graduated from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy (VCMT) in August 2023, obtaining the Clinical Excellence Award in recognition of her exceptional clinical skills and unwavering dedication.
Influenced by her own encounters with chronic pain and stress, Christine is a firm advocate for the rehabilitative capabilities of massage therapy. She prioritizes crafting tailored treatment plans for each patient, addressing their unique needs and goals.
Utilizing a blend of techniques including Swedish and Orthopedic, Christine has experience treating various conditions such as scoliosis, fibromyalgia, chronic sports injuries, musculoskeletal injuries, pronator teres syndrome, spinal cord injuries, and general maintenance care. She has developed a specific interest in working with Central Nervous System (CNS) related cases.
Beyond her professional life, Christine enjoys staying active outdoors. Depending on the season, she might be snowboarding on one of the North Shore mountains, cycling near a beach, or hiking in the Fraser Valley. She emphasizes the significance of exercise in preserving overall physical, emotional, and mental well-being, motivating her patients to integrate movement into their everyday lives so they can keep doing the things they love.

Bryan Ramer
Position: Registered Massage Therapist
RMT
After taking a postgraduate course a few years back from a long established RMT, Bryan was inspired to redefine his approach to treatment as a massage therapist.
He now assesses for mobility as well as ease of tissues and also integrates manual skills through using soft tissue mobilization, visceral mobilization as well as a cranial-fascial approach to his treatments.
Bryan focuses on subtleties that present as well tissue response to guide the treatments. Also each treatment is tailored to the goals of the patient.
You are encouraged to wear loose comfortable clothing to the appointment.
In 2013, Bryan completed the diploma program at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in New Westminster.
When not at work, he enjoys learning both professionally & personally, growing microgreens and exploring beautiful British Columbia.
Dr. Emily Cullen

Dr. Emily Cullen graduated from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and a focus in Rehabilitation. She then pursued her passion for Chiropractic and attended Northeast College of Health Sciences, formerly known as New York Chiropractic College.
Dr. Cullen has an in depth understanding of active care and rehabilitation. This is not only from her education but also her athletic background playing competitive soccer and rock climbing. Her goal is simple, to get you back to doing what you love. Whether it be playing with your kids, hiking the mountains, going back to your sport of choice, or getting back to work. Dr. Cullen is here to help.
Dr. Cullen is an evidence-based chiropractor who is motivated to help her patients through chiropractic care, rehabilitation, education, and patient empowerment. She has a special interest in treating sports injuries, as well as lower extremity injuries including the foot, knee and hip. She has taken extra courses to improve adjusting skills as well as her vast knowledge in the biomechanics, function and treatment of various foot, ankle, knee and hip injuries and conditions.
Outside the clinic you can find Dr. Cullen at the Hive climbing gym, hiking in the mountains, reading on the beautiful beaches or at her local gym! You may also find her tasting all the delicious foods the city has to offer.
Lorrisa Deng
Position: Registered Massage Therapist

Lorrisa is a graduate from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy (2020). Prior to massage therapy, Lorrisa worked a variety of jobs ranging from retail management to work in a lab. Wanting to contribute more and help others, she ventured into her current field as an RMT. The one-on-one sessions allow Lorrisa to build a therapeutic relationship with her clients and understand their health goals – she focuses on helping her clients attain these goals so that they can live a pain-free life.
Lorrisa’s treatment style is a mixture of Swedish techniques and orthopedic approaches. She has developed a specific interest working with jaw and TMJ-related cases.
During her free time, she enjoys staying active with muay thai and spends as much time as possible with her 2 dogs Arney and Tobi. Feel free to show pictures of your dogs as she loves chatting about them
Dr. Jordan Pham
Position: Chiropractor

Dr. Jordan Pham achieved his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States after graduating from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. While studying in the chiropractic program, he also received his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Master of Science in Sports Medicine.
Jordan has been interested in human anatomy and musculoskeletal injuries since training in taekwondo for over 18 years. His own competitive experience led him to take an interest in sports-related injuries, for which he sought further education with a Master of Science in Sports Medicine. The sports medicine program provided additional extensive training in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and exercise rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries. He had the opportunity to work with various athletes from semi-professional football, semi-professional soccer, high school basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, track & field, and much more.
Outside of school and the clinic, Jordan enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the gym, playing sports, and discovering Vancouver’s next best and trendy restaurants. He can speak fluently in English and Vietnamese. Jordan strives to provide the utmost beneficial and personalized care for patients. He combines his experience as an athlete with chiropractic and sports medicine to prioritize helping patients reach their health and wellness goals through evidence-based chiropractic care, exercise rehabilitation, and patient education.
Katerina Hong
Position: Registered Massage Therapist
RMT, AHS
Katerina is a graduate from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. She also has an Associate’s degree in Health Science from Langara College. Katerina has an extensive background as a former competitive dragon paddler and knows how to work with her clients to treat and relieve pain, prevent injury, and to achieve and maintain optimal function. She incorporates general Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial and joint mobilization techniques in her therapy. Katerina has experience working with various neurological conditions, strains, sprains, dislocations and pre/post natal care. Her focus is to utilize a combination of techniques to create personalized therapy services to support her clients in reaching their goals.
Katerina has always been passionate about health and wellness through her experiences as a volunteer with St John Ambulance and her previous work in the pharmacy and hospital settings. She enjoys listening and sharing experiences while also appreciating the comfort of silence and relaxation. Katerina is an avid paddler, cyclist, hiker and has a weakness for new cafes.
Kevin Hsien
Position: Acupuncturist

Kevin is a Registered Acupuncturist with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture of BC. Kevin decided to take on this career path because as a long-time basketball player, he sustained a number of injuries. Luckily, through acupuncture treatments his injuries were treated and improved greatly and during treatments he was also able to learn and appreciate the importance of a healthy and balanced diet on his overall health. Kevin has a passion to use the knowledge he’s obtained to empower and aid individuals to not only be healthier but to also prevent further injuries and illnesses for the future.
In his practice, Kevin’s area of focus lies in internal challenges and concerns such as insomnia, stress, anxiety, and digestive problems and also physical conditions such as musculoskeletal pain. He is proficient in using different techniques in acupuncture, including cupping, Gua Sha, tuina, and electroacupuncture to help patients recover. Kevin likes to focus on treating both the mind and the body as these two are deeply connected. During the treatment, he would focus on the balance of the body and at the same time, help patients release tension in the body.
During his free time, Kevin enjoys playing basketball, tennis, badminton, golf, and many other sports. When he’s not doing sports, he likes to check out different restaurants or play the Nintendo Switch with his friends. Shivani Jiandani
Position: Kinesiologist

Shivani was born and raised in Singapore and moved to Vancouver to pursue a degree in kinesiology. She graduated in May 2021 with a major in kinesiology and a minor in psychology from the University of British Columbia. Shivani has always been passionate about the realm of exercise and physical and mental wellbeing as she grew up playing multiple sports competitively, including softball, basketball, swimming and touch rugby. Her passion for rehabilitation therapy and strength and conditioning began when she was diagnosed with minor scoliosis and worked closely with rehabilitation therapists and strength coaches to recover and continue her sports training.
Shivani has had experience working with a variety of populations including older adults at BodyWorks UBC, individuals with schizophrenia at the Vancouver General Hospital, athletes at the UBC varsity gym, as well as people from different backgrounds as a personal trainer.
In her spare time, Shivani enjoys exploring the outdoors, cooking and trying new foods and weightlifting.
Kaoru Ishidao
Position: Registered Massage Therapist

Ever since Kaoru was a child, massage therapy was a part of her daily life for prevention and care for injuries, pain, and wellness. Kaoru developed an interest in relationship between child development and human touch while majoring in Human Development at University. After becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist in the U.S, Kaoru realized that she wanted to deepen her clinical knowledge and skills to pursue her career in massage therapy. She completed the 3,000 hour program at the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in 2009.
It still fascinates her what human touch, even very light and gentle touch, can do for the health and wellness of all age groups. Kaoru looks at the individual as a whole and approaches the areas that are requiring attention. Her treatment goal is to restore homeostasis which is a balance to the whole body on all levels, rather than chasing the pain. Her treatment is mainly performed by Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and Myofascial Release. If you’re looking for a deep tissue massage, please book with another RMT in the clinic.
Karolina Kluska

Karolina is profoundly fascinated by the intelligence of women’s bodies in creating, birthing and nurturing new life. It is Karolina’s greatest joy to watch her clients transform during their pregnancies and as they become mothers and grow the next generation.
Karolina’s wheelhouse is women’s health and mental health. Noticing a gap in how women access and experience healthcare as well as the dire need for mental health support in her communities, Karolina shifted her practice to supporting other women to get into alignment with their biggest health goals and add to their families.
Often working closely with and learning from midwives, doulas and other prenatal professionals Karolina has helped hundreds of women boost fertility, harmonise their cycle, optimise fertility treatments, have happy pregnancies, faster, more satisfying births and post-partum experiences, and of course healthy babies, all while striving to center parents-to-be in their unique pregnancy journey.
Karolina has an earnest commitment to continuing education which enables her to continually improve the ways in which she serves her patients. Karolina has engaged in courses of study with many respected, international reproductive medicine experts through The Acupuncture and TCM Board of Reproductive Medicine (ABORM) in the hope of becoming a Fellow. At the core of Karolina’s offering is Balance Acupuncture, a world-renowned technique whose roots go back thousands of years to the original form of acupuncture which she had studied extensively, becoming a Certified Balance System of Acupuncture Jade Level Practitioner in 2021.
At Baseline Health and Wellness Karolina is excited to offer acupuncture and cupping therapy treatments for fertility (M+F) and pregnancy support, cervical ripening (birth prep) and postpartum support, acupuncture for mental health and facial rejuvenation acupuncture.
When she’s not in the clinic Karolina can be found soaking in nature while hiking, snowboarding, swimming in the ocean, or enjoying an extra long Yin yoga session at an East Van park.
Einer Lim
Position: Registered Massage Therapist

Einer was once upon a time, a semi-pro frisbee player. His passion for chasing plastic has led to several injuries, big and small and the treatments that got him back on his feet influenced his treatment style now. Having graduated from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy, Einer wants to use the skills gained from school to help people attain a pain free normal. Einer practices with a combination of Swedish and orthopedic techniques.
Einer still enjoys playing ultimate frisbee and is active in the dodgeball community. Einer is recently married with a small fur baby named Chewie. Einer is pronounced “Eye-ner”.
Peggy Liu

As one who loves quality time and nature, Peggy is often found chatting up a storm at a coffee shop or the beach, reading or journaling by the seawall, or enjoying a walk in the forest with a friend and their fur baby. Having recently come back from 5 years in Australia, she’s a bit of a tourist in her hometown and would love to hear your favourite spots and activities around town to add to her list of potential weekend adventures!
Mahadia Abrre

I studied general sciences at Langara College then transferred to Simon Fraser University to complete my bachelors in biomedical physiology under the biomedical physiology and kinesiology (BPK) program. I always knew I would do something in the sciences, but wasn’t sure what exactly. I heard about kinesiology from a student in one of my first year classes and have been in love with it ever since. I love sports and played soccer throughout high school. I’ve also always had a passion for working with children and hope to one day work with them. I love cooking and listening to music in my free time.
Dr. Jenine Mccann
Position: Chiropractor

Dr. Jenine McCann graduated from Queen’s University in Kingston Ontario with a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education and Bachelor of Arts. Throughout her education, Dr. Jenine quickly developed a passion for natural health care, which lead her to New York where she obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic. She went on to own a wellness clinic outside of Ottawa for three years and enjoyed working closely with medical doctors, massage therapists, and energy healers in her community.
After doing long distance with her spouse for over a year, Dr. Jenine and her dog, Daisy, decided to move to Vancouver where she will continue chiropractic care and work alongside Dr. Kody Au. Dr. Jenine has certainly been enjoying settling into a new life here with the milder weather, picturesque views, and dog trails.
Dr. Jenine developed a strong passion for treating pregnant women and children which made up the majority of her practice back east. She has taken a number of courses through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), and has been certified in the Webster’s Technique for treating pregnant women. She is known for her gentle touch with these specific populations, for spending quality time with each client, and for tailoring every visit to individual needs.

Sota Yoshida
Position: Kinesiologist
Sota graduated from Simon Fraser University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Growing up, Sota was heavily involved in sports competing in cross-country running, soccer, and baseball, which has fueled his passion for understanding human movement and physical performance. Since completing his degree, he has gained valuable experience at several different clinics working with a diverse population of patients and injuries. This includes ICBC patients, those with musculoskeletal and neurological injuries, and athletes. Sota has expertise in creating specific rehabilitation programs for each patient, fulfilling their unique goals. He is dedicated to helping his patients return to their pre-injury status, allowing them to continue staying active. During his free time Sota likes to spend time outdoors playing golf, hiking, and trying out new restaurants!
Dr. Tandia Termuende
Position: Chiropractor

Dr. Tandia Termuende completed her undergraduate degree in kinesiology at the university of Victoria, and her doctor of chiropractic degree at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. Tandia’s areas of interest include back and pelvic pain, neck pain, pregnancy and postpartum care, pediatric care, post-concussion symptoms, TMJ disorder, headaches, shoulder injuries, running injuries, and athletic performance. Tandia is Webster certified and has additional experience and a strong passion for working with pregnant individuals as well as infants. Tandia grew up on the Sunshine Coast surrounded by outdoor activities which sparked a passion for promoting exercise and well-being. She has been involved in various sports her entire life, competing in soccer, volleyball, basketball, and track and field. She has worked with the university of Victoria rugby and field hockey teams, in an adaptive gym for individuals with mental and physical disabilities, as a CSEP certified personal trainer, and as a Special Olympics soccer coach. Additionally, she worked as a chiropractic intern under the former olympic chiropractor for the United States Olympic and Paralympic committee. Tandia believes in giving individuals the tools they need to improve and succeed on their own by addressing the Biopsychosocial components of injuries rather than solely on the symptoms. She uses ART soft tissue release, cupping, postural assessments, strength training, kinesiotaping, and manipulation therapy to help patients feel and perform at their best.
Dr. Jennifer Wong

Dr. Jennifer Wong graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario. Previously, Jennifer studied biological psychology, kinesiology, and commerce at the University of British Columbia and spent 5 years as a personal trainer to help others succeed in their fitness goals.
Dr. Jennifer also has experience working with office workers, gym-goers, and athletes to reach their goals, whether it be decreasing pain, self management, or improving movement and performance. Her approach to treatment is diversified and includes joint mobilizations, chiropractic adjustments, myofascial release and trigger point therapy, instrument assisted soft tissue therapy, and exercise prescription.
Jennifer has been active for most of her life and has participated in ballroom dancing, weightlifting, and volleyball, but she also understands the challenges and obstacles of keeping up a healthy lifestyle. Outside of the clinic, you can find Jennifer running around the neighborhood, hiking in the summer, at the gym, trying a new activity, or exploring different cuisines.
