Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, we are able to direct bill to most major insurers! If you have an open ICBC or WSBC claim, please note that we can't direct bill another insurer for treatment until that claim has been resolved.
Please check our list of insurance providers that we direct bill to on this page.

Can you verify what my insurance plan covers?
Due to very strict privacy policy put in place by insurance companies, clinics don't have access to any information regarding your insurance plan (including your coverage or limits). You can review your policy documents or contact your insurer directly to confirm what is covered by your insurance plans.
What if my insurance does not cover the full cost of the session?
We will direct bill your insurance provider for your session on the day of your appointment. Sometimes, insurers do not pay in full, put your claim on hold or they may refuse payment. In any of these cases, we will notify you of the situation and if needed, we can provide you with the "explanation of benefits" that was reported by your insurer. You will be responsible for the remaining balance and you can then manually submit it to your insurer to reimburse you directly, if you are eligible for coverage.
What if I have secondary insurance coverage?
We know that sometimes you may have coverage under two different plans and/or two different insurers. Currently, we only direct bill to your primary insurer, however, you are welcome to submit any remaining balances to any secondary insurer you may have.
What is an insurance deductible?
A deductible is a fee per year to initiate a benefit plan that some plans require patients to pay for their first claim each year. If you have questions about your deductible, be sure to contact your insurer!
